Happy Birthday

Hello, me again... I know Im doing well with my posts these past few days... Just trying to catch up from my lack of posts last week...

I am hoping to visit all your blogs over the next few days... It is so great how much talented crafters are out there..I am still fairly new to blogging and it amazes me how addictive it is...  I have well and truly been bitten by the blogging bug...lol.

My second card for today is another image from the Furry Friends by Joanna Sheen CD rom.. I am enjoying using this CD at the moment. Such cute animals on there and with the papers to match..(great valve for money)..

HOW CUTE IS HE??? I LOVE HIS LITTLE HAT..

I have used alot of distressing on this card... First a ink the edges of a cream card blankwith tea bag tim Holtz distress ink.  I then printed the image and script backing paper from the Cd.. Before I inked the edges of these I made the edges look more worn by scratching down the sides with a knife.. (this gives a jagged uneven finish) perfect for those rustic looking designs.

The sentiment is from a set of stamps stamped using brown chalk ink.. I have threaded ribbon arond the card. I have also attahced gems and some buttoms threaded with ribbon to finsish...

I think this card is suitable to send to many different types of people..

Spring Time

Good evening all, hope you are all well...

What a lovely weekend with the sun shining. Back to normal today thou, dull and rainy!!

I have some news today... I came 3rd over at Bugaboo challenge blog.. Its a great site and their cute digis are just so adorable.. I have just ordered another two as my prize... Yippee. Cant wait to start using them.

My card for today is the spring time bunny...

This stamp is from LOTV, I love how he looks so energetic. Wish I felt like that haha.....

I have teamed him up with papers from papermania and dovecraft. The sentiment is a freebie from a magazine (trying to use them up as you have probably noticed haha).. I have added 1 flower and a bow to embellish.. Very plain and simple card again..

The image is coloured using promarkers (ice greys/cool greys/tulip yellow/gold/meadow green/leaf green/pastel pink)..

Happy Easter

Good evening, I'm here again... Got another card to post. This time it is an Easter card... My first one for this year.. I have used the LOTV stamp..

I coloured this bouncing bunny with Promarkers (tan, pastel pink, caramel, leaf green, meadow gree, cocktail pink, canary yellow). The backing paper is a 2 layered sheet that I received in a recent magazine freebie.. I have added a pink bow.  The two embellishes and sentiments was from another magazine freebie..

Sleeping Puppy

Good afternoon all, Well what a lovely weekend it has been here in the Midlands... It is so nice to see the sun shining (for a change).. We have been to the park and had a nice walk, it was surprising how warm it was..

Anyway onto my second card for today.. It is another one from the Furry Friends Joanna Sheen CD..

This puppy labrador is sooooooo adorable, I love his little glasses.. I have layered this onto blue and pink card.  I have printed matching backing paper from the CD to... I attached blue oraganza ribbon and tied into a bow.. The sentiment is a freebie out of a recent magazine..

A very simple and quick card to make but I think it looks good. Hope you agree...

Good morning all, Hope you are all well..

The weather here is lovely this weekend.. Hopefully spring is finally on its way..

Well after a week of little crafting I managed to have a few hours last night to play.

I am enjoying using the Furry Friends CD from Joanna Sheenat the moment, so many cuties on there.

I am spoilt for choice..

Here is a my first card, a cutie little white puppy..

I have teamed this cuddly cutie with some Papermania papers as I think they work great with the background of the image. I have attached a ribbon out of my scrap box and added a tiny bow.. The sentiment Love and Hugs is from a stamp set by Personal Impressions.

Kitty..birthday

Good evening All... Hope you are all well..

I have not had much time for crafting or blogging the past few days.. Been getting a few jobs round the house sorted (you know the ones, that we all put off for another time).. Anyway I have just put the boys to bed and are hoping to get into my craft room for a few hours this evening' before tiredness kicks in... lol..

Now on to my post for today, this very cute kitty from LOTV..

I have coloured this stamp using promarkers (ginger, honeycomb, rose, pink, mango, blossom)

I have die cut the scalloped cirlce to layer the image on and then threaded some satin ribbon through the holes on the die cut.. The papers are from First Edition... The flower embellishments are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I have added pearls to the side of the image for extra sparkle.. The sentiment stamp is from Personal Impressions..

My Card for today is this cuddly teddy bear... 

I have stamped this popcorn bear and coloured using promarkers... I have also used chalk inks for the sky effect. The papers and die cut boarder are all from the same set but unfortunately I have lost the cover so I can not tell you who it is by.. I have added some brown pearls to finish. I have decorated the inside to match the outside...

This is my second card for today... This cutie is from Margaret Sherry, i have coloured him using Promarkers.. I have used 2 backing papers from my stash, I have added a strippy ribbon and used the same ribbon to create a bow with a ribbon embellishment to finish.. I have also added 4 pearls down the side of image (at the top left, doesnt stand out as much on the photo).. I am enjoying making bright cards at the moment (hence the yellow, red and orange)... It helps brighten my day after the miserable, dull weather we keep having here in the midlands...

Gardening Tilda...

Good morning all,

Firstly I would like to let you all know that I have finally found some brilliant cowboy papers as digi's... (Massive thanks to Kaz_za) Cant wait to get to work with them..

My first card for today is this Gardening Tilda...

I have stamped the gardening Tilda (nature theme) and then masked to stamp the garden fence...

I have coloured the images with Promarkers, I have also used chalk inks to blend the sky and grassy areas.. (unfortunately it doesnt seem to show up on the pictures)..  The blue and brown papers are a freebie from a magazine... I have layeyed different size and coloured flowers to the top corner of the image and also added some more of the flowers at the bottom right... (these were from Mums Craft Shop)..

I am having a problem locating some nice cowboy papers...The only ones I have found are in a pad on ebay but because its from the states the shipping costs more than the pad..

Tatty Teddy

Good morning again all.  This card is using my first Tatty Teddy Stamp that I purchased last week.

I have always loved these bears and have been considering getting some of their stamps for a while..

This is my first creation using the Tatty Teddy stamp. I think they work while with the CAS layouts..

What do you think?

To make this card I stamped the tatty teddy and coloured using promarkers.. The papers used are papermania and the sentiment stamp is from a Kanban set..

The only embellishement added was a tiny pearl in the middle of the flower..

I like this simple design.. Hope you do too..

This card is still in with the Love theme but perhaps more of a birthday rather than Valentines... The tag I have added on the Card reads 'May Love, Happiness and Joy surround your day'.. The papers used are from a magazine freebie pack, that I thought had lovely colour combinations.. I stamped the LOTV stamp and coloured using promarkers.. I added silk flowers and a brad on the card.. I also used little blue gems to add extra sparkle to her dress...

Bug Catcher..

Good afternoon bloggers,

It is so cold outside but as I sit and type this post the sun is beaming through the window and it looks like a lovely day..

Here is my first card for today:

This card is my first at using digi stamps... When I won the voucher for Bugaboo stamps from The Papertake Weekly challenge I couldnt wait to have a mess around with the beautiful images from  Bugaboo... They are so cute and fun to work with and they have defiently opened the digi world up for me.. I cant wait to have a look for some more little cuties....

Anyway onto the card... I have coloured the digi image with promarkers ( pear green, tulip yellow, terracotta, pastel beige, leaf green,  meadow green, tan and dusky pink)

I used versamagic chalk ink to shade the sky and grass background (aloe vera and sea breeze)

I used We R Memory Keepers Travel lite papers.. The Sentiment and ladybug stamps were from A free set from one of the mags.. I used metal mesh, twine, and a brad for embellishments..

Good afternoon all,, Gosh what a busy few days and so so cold...

Well firstly lets start with my news for this week.. I am delighted to have been choosen as the winner over at Papertake Weekly.. I have already spent my voucher at Bugaboo Stamps (they are just so adorable, can't wait to use the images later when the kiddies are settled in bed)..

And my other little bit of news is I have just received my copy of Quick Cards Magazine and they have chosen one of my cards (Black and Green) as one of their Top 4 Pick of the Bunch on Craftbubble...

I am so pleased that other people like my designs.. Its just what we need sometimes when life getting you down a bit..A little pick me up...

Right now onto my first card of the day. 

I have made this easel card using some free papers out of an old magazine (sorry unsure which one)

The stamp is another tilda, I have coloured using Promarkers (cocktail pink, dusky pink, canary yellow, tan, rose pink, caramel, cool grey 3, meadow green).. I have embellished this card with a metal corner decoration, a ribbon bow and some roses...
