Thinking of You NAN...x

Evening All..
Three posts in one day I know...

Just wanted to share a card that I have made for my nans birthday in June.

Unfortunately we lost my nan in October last year, so this is her first birthday not being here. I wanted to make a card that was quite bright and happy and with lots of flowers (she loved flowers).  My nan was an amazing person and my greatest friend. I used to see her almost everyday and loved spending time with her.  I miss her dearly and always will.

So this is the card I have made to put on my Nan's memorial stone for her birthday.

The image I have used for this card is a Bugaboo digi.. I have coloured it with promarkers.
The DP's are Summer Goodness by Raspberry Road Designs (a freebie in Quick Cards Mag)
I added flowers from WOC and my stash, ribbon, pearls and a metal charm from my stash.
The Thinking of You sentiment was another freebie in a magazine...

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Thank you for visiting my blog today..
Enjoy the rest of your week whatever you are doing.

Flowers

Good Thursday afternoon to all.

Oh I am sooooo fed up of this dull, depressing weather... I dont mind if it isnt hot but a bit of sunshine would be nice,, who agrees??? lol......

Thank you for all you lovely comments the past few days about Ronnie..
He seems to be improving everyday, he even managed to sit nice and smart with legs crossed during assembly yesterday... I am feeling much more positive about it now..

He is having a blast at school, he loves to go but what makes me happy is that when I am waiting at the gate for him to come out.. When he sees me he shouts 'Yeah my mummy!!', and runs and throws his arms around me... Aahh Bless him.. !!! My little baby..!!!!lol

Right, now onto my card for today (sorry it is a terrible photo, having trouble with my camera so I am having to use camera phone :-( (frown)!!!

Anyway I was asked to make a card for someones mum, with their name and flowers onto it.. On a large card...

Here is what I came up with:

This card is an A4 cark blank... Papers from me to you are layered onto pink Mirri card.. The image is a digi from Card Making Downloads.. i coloured with promarkers and layered onto Mirri..

I added a organza ribbon across the bottom and tied into a bow...I also added a small watering can gem, and pink pearls in corners of image

Present from Tilda

Good afternoon bloggers... Hope you are all having a good start to the week...

My youngest Ronnie started preschool yesterday.. Cant believe how cute he looks in his TINY uniform lol...
He went in great, waving bye mum... So that was a big relief
But I have been worrying alot about the teachers being able to control him, as we have problems at home.. He can be so adorable but he does not listen to us very much and it is very difficult to get him to do want you want him to... So it was no surprise this morning when the teacher told me they are having problems getting him to sit down when he needs to.. like in assembly he was tryng to climb all over then benches etc...
Oh dear I am soo worried about him, hope he will start to listen and be more controlable.
As I am sure it will make us all happier included Ronnie..

Anyway, enough of my rambling. Onto todays card, I have used Tilda again for this one:

I have coloured her with promarkers (meadow green, blush, cocktail pink, pastel blue, cool grey 3, tan, cocoa)

I mat and layered onto blue and pink cardstock..

The DP are a freebie from a magazine, as is the star embellishment that i also layered onto pink cardstock.. The sentiment is a pre-printed one.. I added a blue organza bow and pink button to finish..

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Thanks for popping by today...

Enjoy the rest of your day..
